Missed call...

So we had this BIG spring training week at work, where all the big guns from all over the country flew into Scottsdale. Yesterday, there was a party/ dinner where a lot of my colleagues got a little tipsy. This friend of mine was getting to 'know' this account manager when another manager butted in and did the whole 'I am a manager too' charade. Anyway, from the description and the pictures, it seemed like a real fun night.

I have seen a lot of movies where the title seems to have no relevance as such to the story. Movie names like 'Million Dollar Baby' did not make too much sense to me (shallow mind, i guess)...another concept I never understood was the need for taglines. For example...Ocean's Twelve (Twelve is the new Eleven)...no wonder kids find it tough to count.

I like movie names that are to the point...like 'My Cousin Vinny' (A comedy of trial and error)...funny and yet so related to the movie. Another example is the cult favorite Gunda ; a movie that has entertained its followers with the in-the-face drama, very colorful characters and mindblowing violence.

If you are wondering the reason for the blog title (Missed call), i was awakened from my stupor by a stupid call in the morning (5 AM), from some weirdo who spoke something in spanish and got a reply from me in tamil...tit for tat.
